This Barolo is presented for the first time with the 2018 vintage, and comes from Verduno. An area that enjoys less notoriety than other municipalities reconaised for the production of the Barolo Docg, but that knows how to give at the wines great expression and typicality.
It iss rich of clear and enveloping tannins with a long and consistent aftertaste.
The scent is perceived floral aromas and red fruits, well blended with essences and spices.
The annual production is limited at few thousands bottles.

Area: Municipality of Verduno (Cuneo) – Monvigliero, 220-310 m.

Soil: Rich in limestone and chalk

The Vinification

In concrete vinifiers, with fermentation Temperature control (about 27/30° C), with post fermentation maceration, and racking after 22-25 days, racking and malolactic fermentation completed with the maintenance of the Temperature. A long period of maturation in large oak barrels, and subsequent rest in the bottle complete the refinement.
